Our Narrowboats range in length from 14.02m (46 ft) up to 21.33m (70 ft), but all are based on the original width of traditional working narrowboats of 6 feet 10 inches. This width was determined by the original 7 feet width of many of the narrow locks on Britain's historic canal system.
Today's narrowboats are picturesque and traditionally styled, yet have all modern facilities on board to make your holiday a comfortable and enjoyable experience. This exploded view of a modern narrowboat demonstrates the type of layout and facilities found on your holiday craft.
( This typical view is for guidance only and does not necessarily illustrate any exact layout of a particular boat. For specific layouts of your chosen boat please refer to our detailed pages on the Guildford Boat House fleet)
